Machine Gun Kelly at The Marquis Park City
Machine Gun Kelly, also known as MGK and mgk, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and actor born Colson Baker in Houston, Texas. He first built an audience through mixtapes before signing with Bad Boy Records and Interscope in 2011. His debut album, Lace Up, arrived in 2012, establishing his place in rap before later releases expanded his sound into rock and pop-punk.
A major turning point came with Tickets to My Downfall (2020), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned RIAA Platinum certification. The album's success helped define MGK's genre-crossing approach, heard in tracks such as “Bloody Valentine,” “My Ex's Best Friend,” and “I Think I'm OKAY.” His supplied artist information also identifies Lost Americana (2025) as his seventh studio album and the focus of the Lost Americana Tour.
The event listing records MGK at The Marquis Park City on January 28, 2019, with Wiz Khalifa listed in the lineup. This earlier Park City date predates the Lost Americana Tour and MGK's pop-punk-era releases. The listing provides no further details about the show or its production, so the later tour information should not be read as a description of that performance.
